Territory Manager Job Description

Territory Manager duties and responsibilities include:

-Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
-Direct sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
-Directs channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by servicing existing and new customer accounts.
-Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with corporate office.
-Meets with key clients, assisting corporate with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
-Prepares sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma and two to five years' sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMPUTER SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of database software; internet software; inventory software; order processing systems; spreadsheet software; word processing software; and able to function on a Windows platform.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to travel.
